Shift in the management of DKT.

Joe Doering succeeds Christian Emborg as CEO of DKT A/S

DKT, one of the standard-setting broadband technology companies in Europe and part of the BTV Multimedia Group, announces that Joe Doering, BTV Multimedia Group CEO and Chair of DKT Board, has been appointed interim Chief Executive Officer of DKT. Doering succeeds Christian Emborg, who is stepping down after having successfully served as CEO for the past 16 years. During this time, Emborg managed to transform DKT from a mainly HFC company to a market-leading broadband player, having launched an extensive fiber portfolio. Alongside focusing on opportunities outside of DKT, Emborg will advise to ensure a smooth transition as Doering continues to nurture the seeds that Emborg has planted over the last 27 years with DKT.

The management team at DKT will continue to support and promote the company’s portfolio and take stronger roles in technology, sales, finance and innovation across the BTV Multimedia Group.

Joe Doering emphasizes the strong cohesion of the DKT team, supporting a seamless transition: “With the help of DKT’s well-established staff and management, we will continue to support our customers and partners with innovative and high-quality broadband products and services uninterruptedly. Due to our pronounced problem-solving mindset, I am convinced that we can make this management transition without any noticeable impact on our stakeholders’ business operations. I want to thank Christian Emborg for his many years of dedication to the company and the heart and soul he put into it.”
