Push-in-outlet (PIO)

For Coax Service Termination

This brand new concept will set the standard for future coaxial outlets/service termination points. Why? Because with a Push-In-Outlet there are no longer problems in changing frequencies on up- and downstream, and we are therefore well prepared for the DOCSIS 3.1 introduction. This means that it is no longer necessary to visit the customer to upgrade the frequencies and roll-out can now be performed swiftly and at a higher speed.

We expect that his will decrease truck roll by up to 90% while increasing reaction time and customer satisfaction! This is what we call creative thinking with customer focus.

The complete Push-in-outlet installation is made from the following elements, Input connector , either short quick mount or standard F, frame which defines if the outlet becomes the European standard version or the Danish Freja form factor and finally the Push-In-Filter which determines the electrical properties of the outlet.

Once installed, the incoming cable will be terminated by short quick mount F or standard F-connector and no further clamping or cutting will be made for future DOCSIS frequency upgrades. To perform future filter frequency upgrades, follow the 3 simple steps:

Remove the cover plate and two screws.
Swap the Push-in-module with a new version, the frame, input connector and cable is not moved at all during this step.
Re-fitting the screws and faceplate and the outlet frequency range upgrade is completed.
