HCS Amplifiers (DIY)
DKT offers both amplifiers with and without AGC.
DKT HCSx line are indoor, self-regulating amplifiers, factory assembled with a white plastic cover which conceals the sturdy metal housing of the amplifier, Tab and connectors, making it blend in perfectly in the home environment. The Home Connect Amplifier Set combines an AGC amplifier, TAP and outlet with an integrated MoCA Point of entry filter under a discrete cover. The HCS-1-4 and HCS-1-8 are without a return path amplifier, making it the optimal, long term solution for networks that either are, or in the future will be upgraded for the DOCSIS 3.1 standard.
HCS amplifiers with Auto Gain Control
The Auto Gain Control (AGC) amplifier means that the amplifier is self-regulating, meaning it is easy to install, requiring minimal technical expertise. This makes the amplifier perfect for the do it yourself, home installer, and the best choice for sales directly to the end user (B2C).
The HCSx Family, designed for Do-It-Yourself installers, combines Coax outlet with TAP and Amplifier, with or without return path. The HCSx Line of multiport amplifiers are the factory assembled version of HCA-Ax amplifiers and HCT-1IxF taps in combination with the HC-C cover.
To minimize the need for technical assistance during installation, DKT has created these tutorial videos, that help the end user install the amplifier themselves, limiting the need for further assistance from the distributor.
Single output amplifiers without AGC
The elegant and compact HCA-16 series of in-home single output amplifiers blends well into most homes. Electrical performance is suitable for cable TV signals in multichannel configurations at an attractive cost. The HCA-16N offers 16dB forward fixed gain and no return path. HCA-16R offers 16dB fixed forward gain and passive return path for DOCSIS cable Modem.
