Gigaclear selects Danish DKT as supplier of gateways for ultrafast fibre broadband to rural Britain

Ultrafast rural broadband network operator, Gigaclear, has chosen Danish manufacturer DKT as a supplier of fibre optical termination and gateway products as part of its rollout to provide full fibre broadband to rural locations in the UK.
Gigaclear’s state-of-the-art full fibre network currently covers over 85,000 homes and businesses in 22 counties across Central and Southern England. The company is in a phase of substantial growth, with plans to connect over 300,000 properties within the next three years through a combination of its own commercial investment and government-subsidised rural broadband programme funds.

Gigaclear will start rolling out the DKT gateways in the coming months.
